How to check your product

  1. Read the label: barcode digits identify a product type. Lot, batch and best-by codes are often printed separately on the package. Model and serial numbers may be on the back or underside.
  2. Search in the right country: a product name or barcode may appear in several markets with different recall restrictions.
  3. Compare all details: open a matching notice and compare the variant, package size, lot, dates and other restrictions. An exact match for one code still requires this comparison.
  4. Read the official instructions: follow the remedy or contact steps supplied by the government agency or manufacturer in the original notice.

What do the results mean?

Exact identifier match: a complete entered code matches an indexed identifier, including equivalent valid UPC/EAN/GTIN barcode formats. This does not confirm every recall condition applies to your item.

Possible match: a name, partial code or identifier range needs further comparison with the official notice.

No matching recall found: the index contains no match for the entered information. A notice may omit identifiers or be missing from our coverage.

Vehicle imports are limited; this is not a complete VIN checker. See source coverage and matching methodology.
