SOURCES, STANDARDS & ACCOUNTABILITY

Recall publication and editorial policy

ScanRecalls publication standards for official recall facts, automated extraction, source attribution and corrections.

Source attribution

Recall facts come from the official notice linked on the page. We preserve the official headline while presenting a shorter product-focused heading for navigation. A shorter heading does not expand the scope of the recall.

Consumer instructions are attributed to the source. We do not invent affected lots, remedies, medical advice, contact details or product images to fill missing fields.

Automated pages and quality checks

Most recall pages are generated automatically. Publication checks exclude detected navigation text, source boilerplate, malformed product identities and records without usable recall facts. Small category or entity collections may remain unindexed until they contain useful records.

Automated extraction can still make mistakes. The original notice takes precedence if our structured record differs from it. Our methodology explains the matching and date rules.

Corrections and source updates

We accept reports of missing notices, incorrect identifiers, misleading headings and outdated facts at support@scanrecalls.com. Include the ScanRecalls URL and the official source that supports the correction.

Source updates may change a published record after further collection and processing. A record that fails publication checks may be withheld while the underlying issue is addressed.
