of an accident. Additional information from Bridgestone: No injuries or crashes linked to this issue have been reported in New Zealand or overseas. Reported cases have been limited to damage to tyres, vehicles, or property. Bridgestone is aware of cases of sudden air loss involving these tyres in New Zealand. All rapid air loss cases have occurred no earlier than 11 months post tyre production date. Bridgestone is recalling the affected 16-inch tyres and will also begin a staged replacement programme for the affected 17-inch tyres, starting with customers considered most at risk.
